Spiritual Hunger
Whether you've known God for 3 days or 3 decades, if you are spiritually hungry, you are welcome to come. The Bible promises that those who hunger and thirst for righteousness WILL be filled.
He is the living water. He is the bread of life. He is the only thing worth living for.

Jesus called loving God "The first and greatest commandment." The Bible calls worship & prayer "ministering to the Lord." We will always put the first commandment of ministry to God far before ministering to each other. When He has first place, we will always have everything we need.
There are many Western Christian-culture-norms that don't lead to spiritual maturity (and if we're honest, often prevent it). The Kingdom of God is full of life & power, far more than a belief system. When we do teach, the goal will be to raise up an army of spiritually mature believers whose lives are empowered to play out like a continuation of the book of Acts.
The Vision
God is looking for resting places...places where He is in charge, and can be the center of attention. When His church gets this right, every good thing flows as fruit of being near to Him. He is the living water. He is the bread of life. He is the only thing worth living for.
The buildings the church gathers in aren't the resting place. We, the individuals, what the Bible calls "living stones", are the resting place. Knowing, seeking, and glorifying Him has been the Bible's described role of humanity from Genesis to Revelation. It is the most important thing a believer should be good at.
The rhythms of the Biblical church are simple: Seek God every day, avail your life fully to the Holy Spirit's working in & through you, and gather to seek Him, minister to Him, & learn to seek Him better. We don't gather for what He can give to us, we gather to better give Him all that we are and let Him use us however He wishes. The church can never be afraid of costly worship, but should be afraid of a cheapened and powerless gospel that doesn't live up to the extraordinary kingdom we've been adopted into.
As an individual church, House For Him is super new. We don't have all of the ministries that many expect in a church. We are more than OK with that. As Jesus teaches, if the goal is to do all the things... we will wake up one day to find ourselves a "Martha ministry" that is missing "the one thing that is necessary." (Luke 10:42). We're going to make sure we get the root thing right before we worry about the fruit things.
